• 1. Game night

How does staying in with your jammies on and bonding with friends and fam over yummy food and Monopoly sound? Game nights are always a hit and are one of the best activities to indulge in as a family without spending money. Our favourite games to play are Catan, Codenames, and Scrabble.

A fun activity to do with your kids would be asking them to sketch the different species of birds and animals they see and compiling that into a collage or a scrapbook.

• 4. Make a homemade movie

It’s always fun to look back and reflect on the simple joys we experienced as kids in our childhood. So, get your kids to create a montage of all their summer memories. Weave all the snippets and moments together using an app. And once it has been made and finalized, host a viewing party for your closest friends and family.
